About the Journal

International Journal of Media and Politics is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal. Our mission is to contribute and publish empirical and theoretical research articles that are scientifically sound and multidisciplinary at the local, regional, national, and international levels. All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal (desk review) by the Editor, and if found suitable for further consideration, they will undergo a double-blind peer-review process. This journal began publishing in 2025, twice a year, in April and October.

We disseminate current and original articles on various issues from researchers and practitioners. Contemporary issues are addressed in this respect, including Media and Political Contemporary Events, Digital Activism, Media and Governance, Digital, Information and Public Policy, and Digital Exposure in the Political Sector.
